Stoll Knit Uppers
Design & Development
As a knit designer on the Manufacturing Innovation team, I worked on all aspects of knit shoe design– creating original knit concept swatches, programming various rounds of knit uppers, working with pattern engineers to get the perfect fit, grading entire size runs, and assisting with domestic production and finishing.
NBxUnmd 111
First of its kind, the New Balance x Unmade 111 fully customizable knit upper allows the customer to select various patterns, sizes, colors, and orientations to create their own unique shoe.
Collaborating with Unmade allowed us to explore interactive patterns while accounting for the effect of color and graphic changes on the overall fully-fashioned upper dimensions. I worked closely with the software engineers at Unmade to help troubleshoot and integrate their software into the M1Plus upper files that I programmed.

NB MIUSA Cruz Sock Knit
I worked with designers and developers to create a two-piece lifestyle knit upper based on New Balance’s popular Cruz model. I handled all aspects of designing, programming, quality, testing, and grading before handing the project off to domestic production partners.

PF Flyer MIUSA Knit
New Balance’s sister brand PF Flyer was looking for a knitted version of their popular high-top design. I worked with the knit team to design and develop this upper for production at New Balance’s facilities in Boston.
