meet the maker

I believe good design can transform a product into an emotional experience. Whether this relationship is individual–between a person and an object– or collective– as a way to facilitate relationships among a group, the things we surround ourselves with can take on meaning far beyond their basic function. 

Armed with an artistic approach to problem solving from my undergraduate degree at RISD and technical expertise from my years as knit designer at New Balance, I bring a creative, hands-on mindset to textile challenges at the intersection of design and engineering. 

I believe in the lifelong pursuit of a passion and the daily joys of dog-eared sketchbook pages, perky houseplants, sleepy puppies, and acai bowls smothered in peanut butter. Thanks for stopping by!
